You may now access Mershon family tree data online! For those of you who have  access to Ancestry.com our tree is  posted there. You may continue to send me information and I will update the site quarterly.  The web address is www.ancestry.com.

We also have the information posted on Rootsweb.com, which is a free service.  There is no membership required.  As with Ancestry.com it is updated the same way. As I become more familiar with the process my goal is to update once a month.  On both trees the privacy settings are such that information on living members is not shown. This address is  www.rootsweb.com.

We  have had a very busy start to what promises to be an exciting year in   the Family Tree section of the Mershon Association.  I  have added over one hundred names to our database since January 1st of 2011.  To date  our database contains 34,198 names.  The family is growing by members registering on the Association website. Many members have just happened upon  the websites by searching for  Mershon.  I currently receive over a dozen emails a week. Soon there will be a link on the Mershon Association website to the two sites listed below.

With the next update you will start seeing  photos of members and headstones which have been submitted. Please remember if you send a photo to be added , it has to have  the exact names  of the person. Dates would also be helpful. I have a  few pictures of couples that just say Mershon family or Mr. and Mrs. Mershon. There will also be  obituaries.
